Who it’s for
makseong contracts with businesses (Unternehmer, §14 BGB). The offering is directed at businesses acting in a commercial capacity, not at consumers.
The free tools
makseong’s free tools (the store and feed scans) are automated, heuristic tools that read public store data and flag where information appears to be missing or at risk. They are configuration and automation guidance — not legal advice, they do not establish compliance, and they create no advisory or client relationship.
No certification or guarantee
makseong is not a certified or official compliance body. Results indicate potential issues only and reflect a point-in-time automated check; they do not guarantee acceptance by authorities or marketplaces. You remain solely responsible for your store’s compliance.
“As is”
The free tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy or completeness, to the extent permitted by law.
Liability
makseong is fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise its liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability is unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by German law; for business customers the place of jurisdiction is Germany.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above is the current version. When paid apps launch, we’ll add the billing and contract terms that apply to them.
