Strictly necessary
We use a locale cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember the language you choose and store your theme preference (system/light/dark) locally in your browser. These are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (§25(2) TDDDG) and need no consent.
Analytics & marketing
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and where traffic comes from — so we can improve it. It sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) holding a randomly generated ID, not your name or email, which expire after about two years; IP addresses are anonymised. Nothing loads until you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner — this is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and §25(1) TDDDG, and you can withdraw it anytime via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The data is processed by Google (Google Ireland Ltd) and may be transferred to Google LLC in the US under EU standard contractual clauses and Google’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification. We set no advertising or marketing cookies.
Managing storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; clearing the locale cookie simply resets your language preference.
