FAQ Ledger

Product FAQs and reusable question sets, with no theme code.

Works withShopify
See it in action
// 01The problem

A fixed FAQ section in the theme leaves empty rows on products with two questions and runs out on products with ten. The same shipping answers end up typed into dozens of places, and they drift apart.

// 02How it works
  1. 01

    Write the questions for a product, or a named set such as shipping, inside the app

  2. 02

    Add the FAQ block to your product page, or the FAQ set block to any other page, in the theme editor

  3. 03

    Shoppers see an accordion in your theme's font and colors, with only the rows you wrote

// 03What you get
  • Its own list of questions for every product, from one to thirty, with no empty rows on the page
  • Write a shipping or returns set once and show it on as many pages as you like
  • Add the same questions to every product in a collection in one step, then edit each copy
  • An accordion block that picks up your theme's font, colors and spacing
  • Questions are saved in your own store, not on our servers

Free, with no paid plan.

About FAQ Ledger

In your own Shopify store, as product and shop metafields. They are not copied to our servers, and they stay in your store if you uninstall the app.

No. Both blocks are added in the theme editor, and the accordion takes its font and colors from your theme. Themes need app block support, which every Online Store 2.0 theme has.

You write the questions once and apply them to the collection. Each product receives its own copy, so you can still change the answers on one product without touching the rest.

No. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results for stores. The product block can output FAQPage data that matches the questions on the page, but it is there to be correct, not to win a search snippet.

Nothing. FAQ Ledger is free and has no paid plan.
